Mass General's Resilient Design
Massachusetts General Hospital has unveiled two new inpatient buildings that are designed so staff can “shelter in place” for four days in the event of a natural disaster like flooding or a hurricane. NBBJ partner Joan Saba appeared on WFXT Boston 25 News to discuss why the buildings will be “trend setters, in terms of what does a modern hospital need today, in the City of Boston, to withstand any disaster — human or natural.”
