Boston Globe: MGH Expansion to Enhance Patient Care
To address a critical shortage of inpatient beds, enhance patient care and unite specialty medical services under one roof, Massachusetts General Hospital is building a one million sf expansion designed by NBBJ. The project will feature two towers along Cambridge Street with 482 private beds, new facilities to treat cardiac and cancer patients, and the potential for a new public transit connection according to the Boston Globe.
