Rainier Square Tower
Constructed nearly 10 months faster than typical for a building of its size, the design of Rainier Square Tower reflects the latest in speed-to-market technology, serving as an urban catalyst for business and people.
As the second-tallest building on Seattle’s skyline, the Rainier Square Tower brings new energy to the city’s central business district. The 58-story, mixed-use high-rise contains office space, the highest residential units in the city, and retail. The project works at multiple scales, both as an iconic tower in the city skyline, and at the street, to create an engaging 24/7 pedestrian experience.
Features
Rainier Square’s SpeedCore design, developed in collaboration with engineering firm Magnusson Klemencic Associates, addresses a common problem in tall building construction: minimizing the schedule lag when building a concrete core that leads the erection of the surrounding steel structure. This efficiency saved nearly 10 months of construction time.
