New Video Illustrates Benefits of Prefab and Standardization on Atrium Health Carolinas New Bed Tower

For Atrium Health in the Carolinas, NBBJ spearheaded a standardization effort across the system’s network of six hospitals, successfully mitigating over $100M of cost escalation exposure across all projects by coupling this standards-based approach with prefabrication. The project is over 60% prefabricated, including headwalls and toilet pods in each of the 448 private patient rooms. A new video illustrates the benefits of this multifaceted approach.
