IIDA Recognizes Seattle Children's Odessa Brown Children's Clinic with Two Healthcare Design Awards

The Odessa Brown Children's Clinic receives two IIDA Healthcare Design Awards, an Ambulatory - Pediatric Award and a Transformation & Innovation Award. Serving diverse youth in Seattle, the project was developed through an inclusive design process that gave the community a voice and ownership of the design strategy, decisions and outcomes throughout the project's development. More than just a clinic, Odessa Brown reflects the community it serves with safe spaces to hang out after school and study, share meals and play sports. In addition, twenty commissioned murals by local artists, resources to support the patient population’s unique needs and a central Town Hall space unite patients, families and providers.
