Introducing Uplift: A Podcast about the Transformative Power of Design
Great design can boost the performance of entire organizations and the creativity of individuals—but it’s also a tool to support healthier, more meaningful lives. Launching November 9th, Uplift is a new, interview-style podcast from NBBJ, focused on harnessing the transformative power of design to foster community, support health and contribute to a resilient environment.
Hosted by Dr. Heena Santry, the first season of Uplift centers on pressing issues facing the healthcare industry. Each episode, we'll speak with, executives, frontline workers and end-users, all of whom have been deeply impacted by the built environment. Topics range from provider burnout, the behavioral health pandemic, and health equity to the mental and physical well-being of patients and staff. Sharing her own experiences as well as that of leaders in the field, Dr. Santry explores the root causes of these critical issues as well as design solutions that create healing, high-performing healthcare environments.
