How does a legendary entertainment powerhouse prepare for its second act? That’s the impetus behind the Warner Bros. Discovery Second Century project. Designed to bring together a universe of creative makers previously dispersed across nine locations to set the stage for its next 100 years in business, Second Century provides a workplace experience as iconic as the brand’s famous stories.
Second Century is infused with memorabilia, subtle references and bold colors that connect employees to the company's work and mission. The office is designed to be agile, with a universal plan that becomes a backdrop to alternative work zones, film-inspired vignettes, casual gathering places and outdoor spaces. In total, 50% of the total office floor is devoted to amenities beyond the desk.
Features
Hundreds of alternative workspaces—private alcoves, bench seating, coffee bars and outdoor terraces—are interspersed throughout the Second Century Project. Inspired by hospitality and the Southern California landscape, each floor has a base palette of furnishings and finishes, with draperies, furniture, walls and carpet that vary in color and materiality to lend identity to the various spaces.
