Schottenstein Center North Expansion and Concourse Renovation
Columbus, OH
Like many aging sports facilities, the Schottenstein Center needed to expand and modernize to remain competitive—but without losing any of its legacy. The Schottenstein’s north expansion and concourse renovation elevates the fan experience with a more spacious, amenity-focused design that uses the athletic program’s history and brand to create a strong visual identity.
Part of a larger Athletics District master plan creates by NBBJ, the design establishes a new front door and space for outdoor special events, providing a dynamic destination that engages fans upon arrival. The concourse is activated with natural light and accommodates new team-oriented retail spaces, dining areas and a ticket office.
