Mix Interiors Honors University Enterprise Zone with a Mixology Award
We’re excited to announce that the University Enterprise Zone wins a Mix Interiors Mixology Award in the Project of the Year: Public Sector and Cultural category. With a focus on promoting innovation and well-being, the design maximizes daylight and connections between tenants, workplaces and nature. Glazed partitions with thin transoms create a sense of transparency and visual connectivity, while breakout spaces encourage teams to meet, socialize and collaborate. A palette of soft, light and natural materials provide a calming aesthetic, with sustainable cork and felt selected for their recyclable and bio-degradable properties. Green plants are located throughout the space, and even hang from joinery units suspended from the ceiling, allowing tenants to experience the healing benefits of nature indoors.
