At a Preeminent National Conference Hosted by SCUP, NBBJ Leads Two Talks on Integrated Campus Planning
As funding shifts and buildings age, the future of campus planning is all about flexibility, adaptability and sustainability. To address these critical topics, NBBJ Principal of Urban Design and Planning, Megha Sinha, and Principal Will Voulgaris host two sessions on transformative campus planning strategies at the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) National Conference in Philadelphia.
On July 22nd, Megha leads the panel, "It's Alive! Georgia Tech's Bold, Comprehensive Campus Plan," to discuss an NBBJ-developed GIS tool used to shape the university's campus plan but can be tailored for other institutions. On July 23rd, Will joins in the talk, "Reconnect, Reuse, Revitalize, Recruit: Addressing Aging Campus Buildings," to explore how the renovation and additional of Cornell University’s College of Engineering unites diverse programs under one roof to create a connective hub for students, teachers and researchers.
