NBBJ's Cathy Bell Speaks at I2SL on Sustainable Lab Design
Net-zero is top of mind for many science and research clients, but the inherent energy intensity of these facilities can make it challenging to achieve. NBBJ’s Cathy Bell joins “Comparing Approaches for Ultra-Low Carbon Research Labs in Cold Climates,” a panel discussion at I2SL: International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 19, to discuss this important topic through the lens of two large research facilities in New England: one institutional and one commercial. The panel will highlight a spectrum of solutions that can be tailored to future projects, including electrification, energy recovery and ventilation.
