Boston Globe Calls Sanofi Headquarters Project ‘The Handsomest Completed’ Structure in Cambridge Crossing Development
In Massachusetts, a new life science development, Cambridge Crossing, rises on the site of a former rail yard, transforming an abandoned zone into a “city within a city.” At its heart is 450 Water, a workplace for pharmaceutical company, Sanofi, which overlooks a 5-acre public green space. The Boston Globe speaks with NBBJ’s Will Voulgaris about the office building’s design. “The NBBJ building takes the prize for the handsomest completed structure so far, with an elegant and diaphanous curtain wall punctuated by a pattern of aluminum fins. So light and airy is the glass wall it feels it might melt into air,” writes the Globe.
