Jonathan Bahe believes successful projects are the result of clear communication, process and unique design solutions that are deeply rooted in the needs of the organization and community. As a leader of workplace design at NBBJ, Jonathan is an expert on the impact of design on human capital and performance, providing process design expertise and client management to corporations around the country. His passion for collaborative inquiry, robust problem solving, and curiosity provides NBBJ clients with a powerful advocate for the integration of design and strategy. Working with clients such Moss Adams, Bungie, Zillow, Google and Swedish Health, he leads teams that create workplaces that are healthy, productive and prepared for the future.
Passionate about cities as places of diversity and innovation—and committed to the role that architects play in envisioning spaces, policies, and places that allow communities to thrive—Jonathan is an active leader in the community. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Leadership Tomorrow Seattle, a premier civic leadership program that cultivates leaders who think systematically and drive solutions toward a more resilient and equitable future. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Pike Place Market Foundation, focusing on building a model for a strong, healthy and diverse community where neighbors find stability in housing, healthcare and support services as well as opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. In addition, he is the chair of the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) Downtown Residents Council, as well as several other DSA task forces focused on the livability of downtown Seattle.
