BARK
A dog-friendly workplace is the exception for most corporate environments rather than the norm. Pet product company BARK celebrates the special link between people and their dogs, and needed its new tenant space at the Gravity mixed-use development in Columbus to do the same. We designed an office that can withstand dirty paws and unplanned accidents, creating a fun and relaxed environment for both people and pets.
BARK’s office houses themed conference rooms, workspaces and commemorative toy-lined walls, as well as “amenity bars” placed throughout, offering people and pets a range of places to connect, play and work. Each bar offers cozy nooks, fun pup peek-a-boos, accessible power, hooks for storage and built-in water bowls. These spaces accommodate alternative modes of work, while wipeable upholstered cushions offer a comfy spot to curl up or plug in.
Features
A large hosting café greets employees and their guests, while serving as a community event space for customers and their pups.
