Kristina Krail has worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years in a variety of high-level administrative positions at institutions ranging from large academic medical centers to small community hospitals. She brings her deep expertise and knowledge to NBBJ as a senior healthcare planner and lead consultant on transition services, helping clients successfully meet their organizational objectives, whether moving operations into a new 500-bed replacement patient tower or combining two hospital obstetrical departments onto one campus.
Kris understands, first-hand, the challenges that hospital leaderships face and has helped clients create plans and take action–consistently resulting in change for the better. As Chief Operating Officer for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council, she used her understanding of hospitals and patient care to advocate for the council’s 26 hospitals at the State legislature and educate representatives about key issues. Kris is a member of the Board of Directors of Healthcare Leaders of New York – the official New York metropolitan chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
