As an interior designer, Josie has shaped a diverse range of environments varying in size and market type, including corporate, healthcare and civic work. The common thread tying all of her projects together is a passion for designing innovative work environments with deep contextual meaning and an emphasis on human health and well-being.
Josie has also focused her attention on environmental issues, helping to bring sustainability to the forefront of design. Her work as co-founder and chair of the event GreenWorld® earned her a spot on the list of Top 25 Environmental Champions by Interiors & Sources magazine in 2004.
Most recently, Josie lead the interior design for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation San Carlos Center, which was recognized as the “Best of the Year, Large Healthcare” by Interior Design magazine and awarded the Contract magazine Interiors Award for Healthcare and the IIDA’s Healthcare Interior Design Competition for Best Medical Office Building Public Spaces.
