Dave Owsiany, AIA

As a principal and senior medical planner with NBBJ’s Seattle office, Dave has a passion for balancing cutting-edge technologies, operational efficiency and healing environments that empower patients and care teams alike.

An architect with more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Dave has lead programming, medical planning and detailed design efforts for a wide range of healthcare projects, including major academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and community hospitals. His projects include the award-winning University Medical Center New Orleans, University of Washington Medical Center, Harrison Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center.

Recognized by his clients for his ability to build consensus and create innovative, elegant design solutions to complex healthcare design issues, Dave uses an integrated design approach which includes Lean processes, BIM, and rapid prototyping to deliver results.
