PSBJ: Seattle’s Second-Tallest Tower, Rainier Square, Reaches Full Height Fast

Seattle’s second-tallest building, Rainier Square, is one step closer to completion after celebrating its topping out this week, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal (login required). After starting excavation in October 2018, the NBBJ-designed skyscraper reached its full height in record time thanks to a new structural system, engineered by Magnusson Klemencic Associates, that employs sandwich panels using steel plates filled with concrete.
