Massachusetts General Hospital Unveils Two New Resilient Inpatient Buildings

Massachusetts General Hospital has unveiled two new inpatient buildings that are designed so staff can “shelter in place” for four days in the event of a natural disaster like flooding or a hurricane. NBBJ partner Joan Saba appeared on WXFT Boston 25 News to discuss why the buildings will be “trend setters, in terms of what does a modern hospital need today, in the City of Boston, to withstand any disaster — human or natural.”
