Proposed High-Rise Featured in Seattle Times, Post-Intelligencer

NBBJ’s proposed high-rise at 888 Second Avenue in Seattle, if built, would become the city’s second-tallest tower, reported the Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The design of the 60-story office and residential tower incorporates a unique 40-story atrium at its center, which would bring natural light to the center of every floor and make the building more energy-efficient. The proposal also includes generous public space, with a wide pedestrian alley and an open-air plaza created by lifting the base of the building 100 feet above street level.
