The Wall Street Journal Covers NBBJ’s Design for Rainier Square Tower

Seattle’s Rainier Square has long been a part of developer Wright Runstad & Co’s plan to attract young tech companies into the city’s financial core and jump-start the area’s revitalization. The Wall Street Journal featured the 1.15-million-square-foot development, designed by NBBJ, which consists of a 58-story tower, a separate 12-story hotel and retail space. The unique form of the main tower, shaped like a “J,” offers a variety of floor plate sizes that will appeal to tech companies at various stages of growth. The design also features large, unobstructed spaces by locating the elevator core to one side of the building. The project is now awaiting final approval from the city.
