New York Times Architecture Critic Michael Kimmelman Calls Samsung HQ Sleek, Eco-Friendly

In his weekly Critic's Notebook Column, New York Times Architecture Critic Michael Kimmelman compares and contrasts the design of Samsung's headquarters in California with a proposed office for phone maker LG in New Jersey.

“The rivalry between the South Korean tech giants Samsung and LG isn't just played out over sales of smartphones and curved televisions,” he said. “Both companies are building new American headquarters.” Kimmelman also says the Samsung HQ is not only thoughtful, but a “constant reminder on the skyline of why to shop Samsung.”
