NBBJ-designed Master Plan for Stanford University School of Medicine Wins National SCUP Award

At its annual international conference, the Society for College and University Planning announced the master plan for the Stanford University School of Medicine – developed in collaboration between NBBJ and Tom Leader Studio – is the winner of the Excellence in Landscape Architecture Award for Open Space Planning and Design.

Commenting in the 2013 SCUP Tribute of Excellence Issue, Chris Shay, Director of Projects at the Stanford School of Medicine said, “Through new, larger planning and landscape efforts, the identity of the medical school at the university has gone from being considered an insular, separate entity to and integrated partner.”
