Ground Broken for New Agricultural Laboratory on Ohio State University Wooster Campus

On Friday, May 10, the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) broke ground for its new laboratory building, located on the Ohio State University’s Wooster campus. NBBJ’s Doug Parris, a partner in the Columbus office, was on hand to ceremonially turn some of the first shovelfuls of dirt, along with university leadership and Ohio state legislators.

A replacement for OARDC's old Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering building, which was destroyed in a 2010 tornado, the new facility will include open laboratories, pilot labs, a wind tunnel and office space. It is scheduled for completion in 2014.
